Life at Trinity

Children and Youth

Trinity's kids are an important, beloved part of our church family! It's often said that kids are the church of tomorrow, but we believe they are much more than that - they are also a vital part of the church today! For this reason, we offer programs that are designed to help kids meet God at their level and discover what it means to follow Christ.

Sunday School

We offer Sunday School classes for ages 3 and up at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. They will find an atmosphere much like VBS, with energetic music, fun crafts and games, and other activities that are designed to bring God to life in ways they understand.

Young Adult Group

Our Sunday School classes for middle and high schoolers meet at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We also sponsor various other events throughout the year, as well as trips to youth events such as Converge.

Nursery

We offer a staffed nursery each Sunday during the 9:15 service. Children are welcome to stay with parents, but are welcome to head to nursery room for fun and game following Children's Chat.

Community Groups & Classes

Real Life

This group is designed for adults and those with school-age kids. We are a group striving to live out our faith in the real world. We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m.

Friendship Community Group

Led by Sue Heidlebaugh and Lee Schnelle, this group meets at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings to discuss life and faith.

Women's Bible Study

A small group study on utilizing different materials for developing and strengthening a women's faith at different times throughout the year.

MIssion and Outreach

Everyone attending Spencerville Trinity UMC is encouraged to develop a servant's heart. Throughout the year, our members organize and manage the Summer Lunch Program, host a School Team Meal in the Fall, conduct a Halloween Drink Station during Trick or Treat, donate to Angel Giving Tree Program, volunteer at the Community Samaritan Food Pantry and several other events/programs.
